'Maoists' Protests Would Jeopardize Peace'

Dec 21, 2009: Parties has come up with their claims that the general strikes and the protests being organized by the Maoist party would eventually jeopardize the peace process and the constitution writing process.

Meanwhile, UML leader Keshave Badal, speaking at a program organized in Kathmandu on Monday, said that there is no capable leadership in the country to tackle the current prevailing political difficulty.

Similarly, congress central committee member Manmohan Bhattarai said that the integration and the rehabilitation of the Maoist combatants is the must in order to write the new constitution.

He also blamed that the Maoists are trying to capture all the powers and the resources of the country.
