Dec 19, 2009: CPN UML leader K P Oli has blamed that the Maoist has been impractical by declaring republican states. Speaking at a program organized in Rupandehi on Saturday, he said that the Maoist had disgraced the constituent assembly by doing so. He derided by saying that providing a state for a corner meeting was like him giving the Maoist chairman the moon.

He was of the view that currently it's not the situation to organize any sort protest program.

He blamed the Maoists have frightened the people through murders and manhandling. He said that there would be no option for the Maoists to improve or crumple if the trend continues
