KATHMANDU: Senior litterateur Diamond Shumsher Rana died at the Norvic International Hospital in Thapathali on Friday evening. He was 94.
A chronic diabetic, Rana was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital after he fell unconscious on Tuesday. He was suffering from multiple problems including renal failure. He breathed his last at around 6:30 pm this evening.

KATHMANDU: The Airbus SAS on Friday refunded USD 750,000 to the Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) that it had paid in advance in 2009 to the French aircraft company in a controversial deal to buy two aircrafts.
